My Story
I was born in Brazil in a city called Porto Alegre. I lived in Brasilia, the capital, for a year or so before I came to the United States. I like in East Rockaway, in Nassau country and I have lived here since I got here. I did not speak English at all when I came, but I think that the fact that my high school was not in a Brazilian neighborhood helped me learn the language faster. I went to Nassau Community College for two years and I was really involved with school. I helped raise over one hundred thousand dollars for academic and athletic programs at school. I was also involved with SGA (Student Government Association) and I was the president of the Honors Club. I currently go to Baruch College and I am in a Greek Organization called Theta Phi Gamma. I would love to be more involved at Baruch, but I really do not have much time between school, almost 30 hours of work per week and the commute.
My Hobbies
I like to read, to listen to music, to drive, to sail and to play badminton. I go to the movies often and I like to do volunteer work.
