Biography

Denise Torres was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. She has two younger brothers. The oldest of the two, lives in New York, and the youngest one is still living with her parents in the Dominican Republic. She married the love of her life and moved to Brooklyn, NY with him in 1999. She is still living in the same appartment, and she is now the proud mother of two little trouble makers ages 2 and 4. When she first moved to New York, she didn't speak a word of English. It took all her time and determination during her first year to learn the new language and adapt to a much bigger city, but today she feels it has been a blessing. It has been a great challenge that has changed her way of life. It would had been imposible without the support of that wonderful guy who brought her to Brooklyn ten years ago.
